The One Voice "initiative is based on the premise that there is a silent majority among Israelis and Palestinians who want a negotiated settlement to their conflict and an end to the cycle of violence.

"The program, known as One Voice, is being supported by a wide range of organizations and individuals in the U.S., including businessman and World Jewish Congress chairman Edgar Bronfman, American Arab Institute president James Zogby, and Hollywood celebrities like Jason Alexander, Danny Devito and even the glamorous couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston." [1]

"Israeli leaders who have signed on to the unique project include deputy Industry and Trade Minister Michael Ratzon, Labor MK Matan Vilna'i, and Rabbi Michael Melchior.

"On the Palestinian side, leading Palestinian Islamic cleric Sheikh Tayseer Tamini Yasser Abbas, son of Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen), are included among the list of names of those who support One Voice." [2]

Fathi Darwish notes that "In terms of the financial support, we are a part of the Peace Works Foundation association. This association is based in New York and gathers funds from across the world. Many charities from across the US, Europe, and some Arab countries donate to this association, as do some business people. This association is not our only source of funding. For example, IBM donated half a million dollars to us in computer equipment. The Ford Foundation also donated to us in addition to many other international associations." [5]

"Recognition we’ve received: World Association of NGOs WANGO Peace & Security Award (2004); Catholic Theological Union “Blessed are the Peacemakers Award” (2004); King Hussein Humanitarian Leadership Prize, awarded by the Hashemite Royal Family of Jordan (2005); Fast Company/Monitor Group Social Capitalist Award (2007-8); Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship (2008-11), UN Alliance of Civilizations Intercultural Innovation Award (2009)."
