Oldrich Cerny

Oldřich Černý "is the Executive Director of both the Forum 2000 Foundation and the Prague Security Studies Institute. From 1993 to 1998, he served as Director General of the Czech Foreign Intelligence Service; from 1990 to 1993, he served as National Security Advisor to President Václav Havel. Prior to the revolution, he worked as a freelance translator of British & American literature and film (1980 – 1989); theater producer (1978 – 1980); and editor (1971 – 1978). Mr. Černý received an M.A. in English and Czech from the Faculty of Philosophy, Charles University." [1]
