Norton Garfinkle
Norton Garfinkle is Chairman of The George Washington University Institute for Communitarian Policy Studies. "He is also Chairman of Oxford Management Corp., an investment company specializing in building new technology companies and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Lamaze Institute for Family Education, which provides instructional material to new parents delivered by 30,000 Childbirth Educators and more than 15,000 Nurse Educators in hospitals throughout the country. He is the author of Communitarian Economics, The Communitarian Approach to Government, The Future of Economic Man and Moral Character Formation in the First Three Years of Life.
"Garfinkle received his BA with honors from Columbia University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He did his graduate work at Columbia and Princeton Universities. At the beginning of his career, he was a member of the Economics Department at Amherst College, and an Editor of the Journal of Economic History." [1]
