Nicole Spencer

Nicole Spencer "is associate to the president. Previously, she was a democracy specialist with Partners of the Americas’ Center for Civil Society, where she mobilized civil society participation in multilateral policy processes and managed advocacy projects in Chile, Costa Rica, and Paraguay. Spencer has also worked to build the capacity of women leaders at CEDPA, a women-focused international development agency; lived in Costa Rica; and researched participation and democracy at the Kettering Foundation. She has an M.A. from the University of Chicago, where she studied democratic theory and the history and politics of Latin America, and a B.A. from Georgetown University in comparative government and French." She works for the Inter-American Dialogue.
