Nexstar Broadcasting currently "owns, operates, programs or provides sales and other services to 46 television stations covering 27 markets and reaching 7.4% of US television households. In 16 of the 27 markets that we serve, we own or provide services to more than one station."

Nextstar's operations broadcast in the Northeast, Midwest and Southwest regions of the United States. "These stations are also diverse in their network affiliations: 42 have primary affiliation agreements with one of the four major networks--13 with NBC, 12 with FOX, 9 with ABC, 8 with CBS, three have agreements with UPN and one is independent," it states on its website.
