Ned Lazarus "served as Program Director at the Seeds of Peace Center for Coexistence in Jerusalem from 1996-2003." [1]

"Lazarus is a PhD student in International Relations at American University's School of International Service in his hometown of Washington , D.C. He began his doctorate after eight years' service as Program Director of the Seeds of Peace Center for Coexistence in Jerusalem, where he established and led year-round programs of cross-conflict dialogue and intercultural education for Israeli, Palestinian, Egyptian and Jordanian youth. Lazarus also served as Founding Editor of The Olive Branch, the Seeds of Peace magazine written by youth from conflict regions around the world, and as a Counselor and Facilitator for delegations of Middle Eastern, Cypriot, and Balkan youth at Seeds of Peace International Camp in Maine. As a Dorot Foundation Fellow, Lazarus studied Jewish texts at the Yakar Learning Community in Jerusalem. Before his extended pilgrimage to the holy city, Lazarus earned a B.A. with Honors in Letters and built a progressive Jewish activist network at Wesleyan University, taught Junior High and Hebrew School in central Connecticut, and inner-city summer school in New Orleans. Lazarus is a member of the Review Board of the Just Vision project. His doctoral dissertation will study the dynamics of identity mobilization within conflict intervention programs in Israel and Palestine. In summer 2006 Lazarus co-wrote two chapters for the second edition of the Unity Program curriculum." [2]
