National ICT Australia (NICTA) "was established in 2002. We are a national organisation with five laboratories in four cities: Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane.

"Our objective is to become a world-class Research Institute and Centre-of-Excellence in science and innovation. NICTA brings together many of Australia’s and the world’s top researchers in ICT." [1]
