National Asthma Council
The National Asthma Council (NAC) describes its mission as being to "bring together all forms of endeavour in the field of asthma and associated conditions in order to improve the quality of life and health outcomes of people with asthma and their carers." [1]
In 2003 an investigation by The Age found that an awareness campaign "run by the NAC was spearheaded by a cartoon dragon that was the registered trademark of a drug company used to promote one individual asthma medication". [1]
