Nathan J. Henry
Nathan J. Henry is a vice-president of the Democratic-associated polling firm The Mellman Group.[1]
According to his bio on the Mellman Group website, Henry has conducted focus groups and surveys and tested ads for such political clients as "Democratic Presidential candidate John Kerry, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Senator Frank Lautenberg, Congressmen Jim Langevin and Ben Chandler, and Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer." He has also worked for corporations such as Dr. Pepper/7Up and T-Mobile.[1]
Henry runs the Mellman Group's Midwest office, in Madison, Wis. (The Mellman Group site says the Midwest office opened in mid-2007, while Roll Call reported that "Henry has headed the firm's Midwest office since 2005." [2]) His Midwest clients have included Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle, Congressman Steve Kagen, the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Cancer Society, Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Black Health Coalition, the Minnesota Institute of Public Health, the Illinois Coalition Against Tobacco. Henry has "substantial expertise on tobacco-control issues," according to his bio, having "more than 50 surveys and focus groups at the national, state, county and municipal level for clients such as the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and numerous state and local anti-tobacco coalitions."[1]
