Biography

Murray E. Jarvik worked for the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Brentwood Division and Professor of Psychiatry and Pharmacology, Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences, The Neuropsychiatric Institute, University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine, Los Angeles, CA in 1993. (Orleans & Slade). He was a contributor to Orleans & Slade Nicotine Addiction in 1993. M.E. Jarvik authored with Schneider the leading text on nicotine and the mechanics of addiction. Dr. Jarvik works with Dr. Jack Henningfield.
