Biographical Information
"Monica Winsor is an independent consultant to individuals and social beneficiary organizations with a focus on Africa, global health, integrative health, human rights and women's rights. She is a co-founder and advisor to Inspired Philanthropy Group (IPG), providing strategic philanthropic advice, innovative fundraising and cause-related marketing to individuals, foundations, and not-for-profit organizations working together to make a sustainable and positive impact on the planet. Prior to IPG, Monica helped launch the "6 Villages: 1 Global Fight Against AIDS" campaign for FXB International, raising awareness and funding for sustainable economic development programs in Uganda and Rwanda.
"Monica is a vice chair of Women Moving Millions, a global campaign and a consortium of women philanthropists strategically funding causes that boldly focus on women and girls. She is vice president of The William H. Donner Foundation and a governor of the Donner Canadian Foundation, and a board member of The Synergos Institute, Culture Project, The Batonga Foundation and Dignitas International. A graduate of Brown University and a certified Yoga therapist, Monica lives in New York City with her husband and two daughters. " [1]
