"Monica Vachher is an investment banker and securities lawyer. She was a founding member of Financial Security Assurance, a financial guarantee firm. She later went on to work at UBS Securities and was a managing director at Bear, Stearns & Co. Monica is committed to education, international development and human rights and was appointed by President Clinton as a Director of a USAID investment fund for Central Asia. She joined CARE's board in 1999, is chair of the management and audit committee and has served on the nominating committee and the task force on internationalization.“ [1]
