Mohamed Yahya

Mohamed Adam Yahya "is a refugee from the Darfur region of Sudan and chairman of the Damanga Coalition for Freedom and Democracy, representing the Massaleit people of Darfur. He was born in a small village in Eastern Algeneina, the capital of Darmassaleit.

"Speaking at rallies and conferences across the country, Mr. Yahya has spoken alongside activists Gloria Steinem and Curtis Sliwa, demanding action to stop Sudan's genocide. He also presented at the Center for Middle East Freedom's inaugural gala in Washington, DC. Mr. Yahya demands that the people of Darfur be "protected, safe and free, so as to live like other human beings, in peace and dignity."“ [1]
