Mohamed Elsanousi "represents the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) in the Ploughshares-funded Muslim-Christian Initiative on Nuclear Weapons Danger. As the Director of Communications and Community Outreach at ISNA, Mr. Elsanousi works to foster interfaith relations and strengthen ISNA’s relationships with the Muslim community in North America. Mr. Elsanousi also serves on the board of directors for several interfaith organizations, including the National Religious Campaign Against Torture (NRCAT). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Shariah and Law from the International Islamic University in Islamabad, Pakistan; a Master of Laws from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN; a graduate diploma in philanthropic studies from the Indiana University Center on Philanthropy; and is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Law and Society at Indiana University School of Law. He is proficient in Arabic and English, and has basic fluency in Urdu." [1]
