The Department of Minerals and Energy has awarded Madibeng Platinum prospecting rights to the farm Hoekfontein 423 JQ in the Madibeng municipality in the North West Province. Madibeng encompasses the farm Hoekfontein 432 JQ close to the town of Brits on the Western Limb of the Bushveld Complex of South Africa. A detailed high resolution airborne magnetic survey has been completed outlining the geological structures and the layered stratigraphy. " [2]
