Biographical Information
"Michael Warren served for the past three years as Programme Specialist and Team Leader for the UN Development Programme's peace and security cluster in Kosovo. His portfolio focused on armed violence reduction, conflict transformation, and women's safety and security. Previously, he developed advocacy and capacity-building programming in the former Soviet states with the Canadian arm of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines; delivered HIV / AIDS education in Tanzania; supported civil society parliamentary oversight in South Africa; and worked as a global educator across Canada. Michael has a B.A. in Development Studies from Dalhousie University and is completing a M.Ad.Ed. in Community Development from St. Francis Xavier University / Coady International Institute." [1]
