The Honorable Michael J. Rosenthal "currently lives in China serving as the CEO, Asia Pacific, for Day Light International Holding Company, USA. Prior to this Michael served as the Minister of Justice, a Presidential Cabinet Post, for the Republic of Palau for 4 years. As Minister he oversaw the operations of the Ministry of Justice, which is the primary law enforcement agency in the country, with a budget of more than USD $3.6 million annually and more than 200 employees. The functions of the Ministry include marine law enforcement, fish and wildlife protection, patrol, drug enforcement, criminal investigations, fire fighting, ambulance service, executive security, operating the prison system, issuing operator licenses and registering all vehicles. He formerly served as the Special Prosecutor for the Republic of Palau, a Trial Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice and as a Law Clerk for judges both on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. As a Federal Prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice, Mr. Rosenthal prosecuted federal crimes in areas of tax, banking, bankruptcy fraud, money laundering, and illegal drugs, and received the Department of Justice Outstanding Attorney Award in 1993 and 1996. He has also served for two years as the President of the Palau Bar Association, and has taught Criminal Law at the Palau Community College. Minister Rosenthal is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and American University's Washington College of Law." [1]
