Biographical Information
Michael joined the Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust "in April 2008 and has substantial experience in health and social care within and outside the NHS. He worked in a range of NHS senior posts in Islington and Tower Hamlets before becoming Chief Executive of the Barking and Havering Family Health Services Authority in 1992. In 1995 he was appointed as the first Chief Executive of the City and Hackney Community and Mental Healthcare Trust. Michael was the founding Chief Executive of the Prince of Wales’s health charity, and was Chairman for five years of London Cyrenians Housing. Michael is a Non-Executive Director of the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency" (2003-12) and a Member of the Health Research Authority’s Risk and Audit Committee. [1]
