Biography

Michael DeBakey was a physician in Houston, Texas. He was formerly at Tulane University School of Medicine. He did cancer research. (E. Whelan 1984). DeBakey is former chancellor of Baylor College of Medicine and a premier cardiovascular surgeon. He actually wrote one of the first big articles on tobacco and lung cancer with Dr. Alton Oschner in 1936.
