Biographical Information
"Melodi Nelson brings many years of customer service and small business organization to NTI. After studying at the University of Minnesota, she joined Rising Sun Farm in 1981, an organic farm producing vegetables, fruit, poultry and maple syrup. She has worked as president of the board of directors for OCIA (an organic certification agency), vice-president of Terra Prima an organic agricultural commodities export company which also produced the first organic tortilla chips sold in the U.S. for Newman's Own Organics, and as the Quality Systems manager for an agricultural testing lab. She is strongly committed to the success of the students at NTI and is always available to help them in this endeavor."[1]
