Melinda H. Connor

"Dr. Melinda Connor, D.D., Ph.D., AMP, FAM is the Holos University Director of Research. She has trained as a clinical psychologist, neuropsychologist, drama therapist, massage therapist and in over thirty different styles of energy healing. Ordained as a Buddhist Priest, she is board certified in alternative medicine and a Fellow of the American Alternative Medicine Association. Dr. Connor holds an A.A. in Humanities from Harvard University, a B.A. in Theatre and English from Wellesley College. Her training includes masters degrees from programs at University of San Francisco and American Public University and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from California Coast University with a one year rotation in neuropsychology. As a National Institutes of Health T-32 post doctoral fellow, Dr. Connor received her training as a research scientist at the University of Arizona under Dr. Andrew Weil and Dr. Iris Bell and was director of the Optimal Healing Research Program at the Laboratory for Advances in Consciousness and Health under Dr. Gary E. Schwartz. Her religious training includes ten years of classes with the crucible program at Healing Light Center Church under Rev. Rosalyn Bruyere, courses with Universal Life Church and over 30 years of Buddhist practice with the Soka Gakai-USA. With appointments at multiple universities, Dr. Connor is currently the CEO of the National Foundation for Energy Healing and Earthsongs Holistic Consulting. Dr. Connor has a research laboratory and a private healing practice in Arizona and is the author of ten books."
