Meir Shannie "has served as a CEO for several major Israeli corporations, including Clal Industries, Elite Industries, and Clal Insurance, and founded "Supershuk Greenberg," the first discount supermarket chain, which later merged to become part of the "Clubmarket" chain.
"Upon leaving the corporate world in 2004, Mr. Shannie has been at the helm of his own holding company, "Shannie Aharoni Holdings," and has pursued numerous charitable ventures, including serving as the chairman of the Israeli Autistic Organization (ALUT)." [1]
