Biographical Information
"Currently chairman, Global Resources Corporation, he also serves as senior counsellor to BG Energy Holding Group (UK) and sits on the international advisory boards of Invensys plc, ApcoWorldwide, Numis Securities, Windsor Energy Group, European Policy Forum, The Oil Council and Beijing Energy Club. Mr Ogutcu was most recently nominated by the Turkish government for the secretary-general position of the world`s largest energy organisation, the International Energy Forum, based in Riyadh. Previously served as the head of the OECD`s Global Forum on international investment and regional outreach programmes (2000-2005), the principal administrator for Asia-Pacific and Latin America at International Energy Agency (1994-2000), Turkish diplomat in Ankara, Beijing, Brussels and Paris (1986-1994), Deputy Director at Is Bankasi, Turkey`s largest private bank, NATO Research Fellow, EU`s Jean Monnet Fellow and adviser to the late President Turgut Ozal."
