Megan Davison is the Executive Director - Victoria of the Minerals Council of Australia (MCA), the peak mining industry lobby group. She also has responsibility for "Safety & Health Regulatory Reform" policy for the MCA.[1]
The MCA's Victorian member companies include a number of coal companies or companies with major coal interests including Ignite Energy Resources, International Power Hazelwood, Loy Yang Power Management Pty Ltd, Mantle Mining and TRUenergy Yallourn Pty Limited.[2]

'Clean coal' optimism
In March 2012 Davison told the Latrobe Valley Express that progressing clean coal technology could happen "in the blink of an eye".[3]
