Biographical Information

Meg Levie "is an executive coach and mindfulness teacher who specializes in working with business leaders who feel a calling to integrate their work life with their spiritual practice and values. She coaches individuals as well as leading classes and retreats on meditation and mindful awareness in corporate settings for clients such as Genentech, Twitter, and Zynga.

"Meg began Zen practice in 1991 and received ordination as a Zen priest in the Japanese Soto Zen lineage of Shunryu Suzuki Roshi in 2003. She has been a resident of the San Francisco Zen Center since 1994 (including Tassajara Zen Mountain Center and Green Gulch Farm Zen Center in Marin County, where she currently lives). She has studied Buddhism in Japan and Thailand and leads a monthly sitting group in the San Francisco Bay Area as a teacher of the Mt. Source Sangha.

"She received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University and a master’s degree from the University of Texas in Austin, both in English literature, and is a certified Integral® Coach through New Ventures West in San Francisco. A graduate of the Radcliffe Publishing Course, she also has worked in the publishing industry in New York and Tokyo. "[1]
