Media Matchmaker
Media Matchmaker is a website that aims to connect television companies with companies looking for product placement options.
In January 2006 PR Week reported that the site launched "with inaugural clients Sony Television, Fox Television, Starcom, and Magnet Global."
Media Matchmaker President Jim Mahoney told PR Week that the company has in-principle agreements with 25 companies including A&E, Biography, and The History Channel.
Curious members of the public, though, won't be able to see what deals are in the offing. "The general public, unrelated businesses and third-party representatives are barred from access to your listings. The people on Media Matchmaker are here to make deals with you. And our password protection and state-of-the-art encryption technology ensure that your transactions, listings and searches remain confidential," Media Matchmaker reassures potential clients. [1]
