Max Walters

Max Walters, "the Managing Director of Channel Seven Brisbane, was appointed to the Board of The Wesley Research Institute in February 2005. Max has provided a wealth of knowledge and support to the Institute, drawing on his experience in the finance, management and media industries. Through Max’s leadership, Channel Seven Brisbane has provided a valuable vehicle for public promotion of the Institute’s research activities.

"Max has held senior positions with KPMG, Watkins Pacific Limited and Channel Seven Adelaide and has held appointments with The Abused Child Trust, Queensland Library Foundation, Flinders Medical Centre Foundation, Queensland Olympic Council, and Project Australia.

"A former Sheffield Shield cricketer and Queensland Chairman of Selectors, Max was awarded an Australian Sports Medal in August 2000 for his services to cricket."
