Biographical Information
"Matthew is the lead for our Innovation Measurement work, which is one of our six areas of expertise. He has helped set up and lead our Innovation Exchange work - which has enabled conversation between innovators from the third sector and those who commission services - and the Innovation Catalyst - a programme of innovation support to Local Authorities.
"Matthew enjoys seeing innovators in local services, whether it is libraries, early years, schools or in the NHS growing in confidence and ambition; realising that they could make a bigger difference to the lives of the people in their local community and on a much larger scale.
"Matthew previously worked in the Strategy Unit in the Department for Education and Skills, now the Department for Education. Matthew has experience as a service designer in public services - having worked for RED at the Design Council, Participle, and as a Senior Researcher at DEMOS where he ran their programme on public service innovation. He has also advised the Cabinet Office Strategy Unit on public service improvement."[1]
