Mary M. Lassen
Mary M. Lassen "is a Senior Fellow at the Boston Foundation, focusing on issues of workforce development and higher education. Mary served as President and CEO of The Women's Union from 1994-2005 during a strategic repositioning, including the development of a bold strategic plan which emphasizes women’s economic self-sufficiency, the creation of a strong public policy and advocacy capacity, and the development of a technology training and mentoring program for women. Mary served from 1984-2003 as Executive Director of the Committee for Boston Public Housing. She was a Fellow at the Mary I. Bunting Institute of Radcliffe College, and is a summa cum laude graduate of Radcliffe College. Mary serves on several boards, including as Chair of the Center for Community Change.
