Mary F. Morten
Mary F. Morten "is the associate director and past president of the Chicago Foundation for Women, one of the world’s largest women’s funds, which provides grants and technical assistance for women and girls. She rejoins the Task Force board of directors after an 11-month hiatus. Mary is also the president of Morten Group, a consulting firm specializing in social change through skills development, public policy, and advocacy. She is the immediate past director of the Office of Violence Prevention for the Chicago Department of Public Health and has served as director of the Chicago Commission on Human Relations' Advisory Council on GLBT Issues, executive vice president of the Women’s Self-Employment Project, and director of programs for the Midwest Women's Center. She is the board chair for the Illinois Center for Violence Prevention and serves on the board of Chicago Women in Philanthropy. She is a 1996 inductee into the Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame."
