"Marvin C. Schwart, Managing Director, joined the firm in 1961. Marvin currently serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager with the Straus Group. Marvin, along with Philip Straus, established the Straus Group in 1967. Previous roles at the firm include being a member of Neuberger Berman’s Executive Committee, Director of the Neuberger Berman Management Co., and Lehman Corporations. He was also former Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Lehman Brothers. Marvin is involved in many philanthropic activities including the Metropolitan Opera, the Central Park Conservancy, Emory University, Baruch College, The New York Philharmonic, Beth Israel Medical Center, the New York Botanical Gardens, Neuberger Berman Museum of Art, Historic Hudson and Westchester Land Trust. Marvin Holds a BBA from Baruch College of the City University of New York." [1]
