Biographical Information

"Before joining 3SC in 2010, Martyn was part of the corporate management team at Royal National Institute of Blind People. He joined 3SC as Finance Director and was appointed as the Chief Executive in December 2011. Martyn has over 20 years’ experience in senior roles in the public, private and charity sectors and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. He also holds an MA in English Literature and has lectured to undergraduates on First World War studies at Sussex University.

"Martyn’s vision for 3SC is to ensure that it keeps enabling more and more third sector organisations to thrive in the delivery of public services. He is a Social Enterprise Ambassador and passionate about maximizing the resources available to front-line third sector organisations so that the experts can just get on with providing a quality service.

"Martyn is on the finance committee of Disability Rights UK and is a volunteer for the Small Charities Coalition, where he advises small charities on business planning, governance and strategy. "[1]
