Biography

Whitman's investment firm produced a research paper on tobacco entitled, "Tobacco: Peering Through the Smokescreen," in 1993. Whitman says the tobacco producers are "dead meat". Whitman says "the amount of public information pointing to conspiracy by the tobacco industry is compelling" (1994) (D. 8/29/94).
