Biographical Information
"Prior to joining the Open Society European Policy Institute, Martin Demirovski worked at the European Parliament as a political assistant to a member of the European Parliament charged with Roma-related issues, the Western Balkans, and the accession of Bulgaria to the EU. In the past he has served intergovernmental organizations such as the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the ODIHR office in Warsaw, and NGOs such as the European Roma Rights Center. Demirovski has extensive knowledge of governmental policies targeting the Roma population, political participation of Roma, refugee issues, communications, and the European Parliament.
"He is fluent in Romanes, Macedonian, English, and Bosnian (Serbian)."[1]
