Markus Michael "is a consultant for public health in situations of armed conflict, based in Brazil. His professional experience is based on a career with the International Committee of the Red Cross in health management and health policy making in conflicts in Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia. He has developed a framework for the analysis of health system vulnerability in conflict and for the application of appropriate humanitarian assistance strategies. He is involved in the current production of a manual for humanitarian workers by Fahamu: Engaging with chaos." [1]
