Markson Sparks is an Australian public relations firm run by London-born Max Markson, which runs numerous fundraising events for the Australian Labor Party. In 2001, Markson Sparks ran events for the Labor Party that raised around $1.7 million. [1]
In 1998/99 the Labor party reported receiving $499,849 from Markson Sparks, but the company itself reported contributions of over $650,000 to the Australian Electoral Commission that year. [2]
