Biographical Information

"Mark has worked at The Fairtrade Foundation since 2004 and recently started in the newly created post of Head of Product Strategy - Bananas, to lead the Fairtrade movement towards its ambitious vision of making Fairtrade bananas the norm.

"Previously Head of Commercial Relations (Food and Beverage), he led The Fairtrade Foundation’s commercial engagement with manufacturers, brand owners and retailers in the food and beverage sector. He has worked closely with many companies in growing the UK market for Fairtrade, including businesses such as Tate and Lyle, Sainsbury’s, Starbucks and Nestlé on their major Fairtrade product launches - providing advice and support on supply chain and product certification, internal communication, customer engagement and marketing.

"Mark started his career at Proctor and Gamble where he spent eith years and held a variety of commercial roles in a broad range of product categories, working with clients in the corporate and public sectors."[1]
