Mark Cherrington "is Cultural Survival’s Director of Publications. He has been a magazine editor and publications specialist for nonprofit organizations for 25 years, including work at Amherst College and 18 years with the Earthwatch Institute. He has written or contributed to several books on environmental and social issues, and his writing and photography have appeared in many major magazines, including Discover, Time, Audubon, and Vogue. He has also lectured on environmental issues at universities across America and on national radio and television programs. For a number of years he worked as a professional musician all over the United States and overseas. He joined Cultural Survival’s staff at the beginning of 2006." [1]
