Biographical Information
Marie-Louise comes to the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation "with a background in not-for-profit management and for-profit marketing. Having worked in Strategy and Senior Account Management for the advertising company J. Walter Thompson in Asia and helped establish IMIC (the first market research firm in Cambodia), she served as Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam and, more recently, as Creative Director for Awangarda in Poland - a foundation dedicated to promoting the artistry of people with intellectual disabilities. She remains on Awangarda's Supervisory Board.
"Marie-Louise is a graduate of Smith College and Columbia University Business School in the US and serves as an alumni recruiter and ambassador for both almae mater. She is conversant in 6 languages and enjoys running, reading the New Yorker and painting (having exhibited professionally for the past 10 years). She lives in southern France with her daughter." [1]
