Marcelo J. Carena is Associate Professor, Corn Breeding and Genetics, since 2006 in the North Dakota State University, Fargo. He is also Instructor of Quantitative Genetics and Crop Breeding Techniques. In 2004, he has been a visiting scientist in FAO helping to define a template to describe national plant breeding and related biotechnology capacity."[1] He is helping with the FAO's Global Partnership Initiative for Plant Breeding Capacity Building (GIPB).
