Malia Everette

Malía Everette "is the director of the San Fransicso organization Global Exchange's Reality Tours program, overseeing the growth and development of alternative travel programs, study seminars and fact finding human rights delegations to countries all over the world. Malía has a BA in English Literature and an MA in International Relations. She has written numerous articles about socially responsible travel and is a widely invited speaker on US international relations with Cuba. Malía is involved with many local environmental and human rights groups in the San Francisco Bay Area. Malía is a co-founding director of the Richmond Progressive Alliance in Richmond, California and a founding member of the San Francisco Green Tourism Coalition; she also serves as a commissioner to the Human Relations Commission of Contra Costa County. Perhaps most importantly, Malia is the proud mother of two inspirational and intrepid sons."
