Biographical Information
"Before coming to Orion, Madeline worked as a fundraiser for public radio and for several small nonprofits in midcoast Maine. She has a background in sustainable development and food security and is an active volunteer with the Common Ground Country Fair. She currently serves on the board of Equity Trust, which promotes equitable and sustainable approaches to land ownership, particularly in the areas of agriculture and affordable housing. She started at Orion as Director of Development in 2007 and became Managing Director in 2010. Madeline is an avid gardener, and has been reading Orion since her teens."[1]
