Biographical Information

"Liz has been working in the non-profit sector for most of her professional life. As a full-time fundraiser based in Washington, DC for more than 17 years, she raised millions of dollars in major and planned gifts for Greenpeace and the National Organization for Women (NOW). Previously, Liz worked as a Legal Services and civil rights lawyer in Mississippi, primarily as a federal litigator. She serves as a member of the national Boards of Directors of Greenpeace, Greenpeace Fund, and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). Liz is also a member of the ACLU of Virginia Board of Directors and the State Council of Virginia NOW. She holds a JD from Emory University and a BA from the University of North Carolina."[1]
