Linda Peek Schacht
Linda Peek "is a senior fellow at the Kennedy School of Government's Center for Public Leadership at Harvard University. She is the former vice president and director of communications strategy for The Coca-Cola Company. Her twenty-year public affairs career includes positions in government, politics, education and corporations.
"Peek served in the Carter White House Office of Media Liaison and as campaign press secretary for the 1980 Carter-Mondale re-election campaign. As the first public affairs director of USA Today, she oversaw publicity, government relations and special events during the newspaper's development and launch from 1980-1983. She was communications director of the U.S. Senate Democratic Policy Committee from 1983-1988.
"Peek left Capitol Hill in 1988 to become a vice president in the Washington office of Robinson, Lake, Lerer and Montgomery. She moved to New York in 1989 to join RJR Nabisco.“ [1]
