Linda Millard
Linda Millard "has worked in the non-profit sector for 35 years. She served Earthwatch as the California Regional Director for 20 years, "retiring" to a board position in 2000. Ms. Millard is a past President of the Northern California chapter of the ARCS (Achievement Rewards for College Scientists) Foundation and currently serves on the Foundation's National Board. Other institutions she supports through membership and volunteer work include POST (Peninsula Open Space Trust), the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, KQED, and From the Top. She is a past director of the Art Museum Council of The Los Angeles County Museum of Art and served as a trustee of the Los Angeles Ballet and Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History. Ms. Millard is a Mills College graduate, married to Silicon Valley executive Steve Millard, and the proud mother of three." [1]
