Lester J. Fagen
Lester J. Fagen "is a partner in the Venture Capital practice group and a member of the Cooley Godward Kronish Business department. He joined the Firm in 2007 and is resident in the Boston office.
"Mr. Fagen has more than 20 years experience representing technology-driven and traditional companies in all phases of their development. He has represented United States and foreign companies in business formations, acquisitions and dispositions, reorganizations, financings, and securities offerings. He also has substantial experience in technology joint ventures, licensing and intellectual property matters. His technology clients include emerging software, life sciences, information technology and medical technology companies, and his traditional clients include consumer products, sourcing, manufacturing and service companies.
"Mr. Fagen complements his corporate general counsel practice with the representation of private equity and venture capital funds and investors, and has been the lead attorney in the formation of a number of investment funds. He also represents funds and individual investors in connection with their investment activities and has structured and provided legal counsel in connection with a wide range of investments, including common stock, preferred stock, warrant and convertible debt investments.
