Biographical Information

"Leo joined the Board as a trustee in 2005. He was previously a long standing trustee of the Lankelly Foundation. He is currently the Fondation's Treasurer and chairs the Finance and Social Investment Committee. He spent nearly 30 years working in investment banking in the City of London for Morgan Grenfell and Deutsche Bank. His experience covers banking, credit administration and secretariat matters. He has been a front line compliance officer for a wide range of investment banking businesses, including four years for Deutsche Bank in Moscow. He was treasurer for Streetwise Youth 1 at its inception in Earls Court in the 1980s before it started to work in partnership with Barnados and in Moscow was a member of a group providing practical support and advice for Sudanese refugees. For more than 40 years he has been responsible for a small family estate in the Highlands which is now self-supporting through businesses which have been developed and leased out including a mobile home and camping park and a country house hotel.
