Lenka Setkova "joined the Carnegie UK Trust in July 2006 as Director of the Democracy and Civil Society Programme. For the first seven years of her career, she worked with the Department for International Development/Foreign and Commonwealth Office and with the C.S. Mott Foundation in Central and Eastern Europe. The focus of this work was on strengthening democracy and civil society in post-communist societies. Since moving back to the UK in 2002, Lenka has worked with the Tudor Trust and the New Philanthropy Capital. Between 2006 and 2008, Lenka will focus on the Trust’s Inquiry into the Future of Civil Society in UK and Ireland." [1]
