"Lekha Klouda was the founder Director of the Charity Retail Association, a UK voluntary organisation with a membership of over 200 charities operating retail outlets from 1999 up until her retirement. Prior to this she worked as Administrator at the Charities Advisory Trust for ten years. She spent ten years in Africa and has taught English to refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. She continues her involvement with the charitable sector as governor and trustee of a local voluntary aided secondary school, and is Vice-Chair of the International Council of the charity Minority Rights Group International."
