Leighton Asia is operating the Khushuut mine is an open cut coking coal mine in Mongolia for Mongolia Energy Corporation, a Hong Kong listed public company. The mine, has a projected life of 19 years mine life with production at 8 million tonnes per annum, is currently being brought up to full production.
